Challenge Design Tips
Set achievable but challenging goals. Start with modest targets for beginners and increase difficulty for advanced typists. Unrealistic goals can be demotivating.
Setting Appropriate Goals
For Beginners (0-30 WPM)
- Focus on accuracy first (90%+ target)
- Speed goals: 25-35 WPM
- Encourage daily practice, even brief sessions
For Intermediate Users (30-50 WPM)
- Balance speed and accuracy (92-95% accuracy)
- Speed goals: 40-55 WPM
- Introduce timed challenges
For Advanced Users (50+ WPM)
- High accuracy standards (95%+ accuracy)
- Speed goals: 60-80+ WPM
- Challenge with complex texts and longer durations
